CyberSafety

Teaching about CyberSafety is as important as teaching about all the ‘other’ safety issues.   Below are links to anything I find that’s related to CyberSafety.  I won’t have used them all – but they will be here to check out to see if they fit a need.

  • cybersmart The Cybersmart program is a national cybersafety education program managed by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), as part of the Australian Government’s commitment to promoting online safety for children and young people.
  • DEECD Victorian Department of Education and Early Childhood Development CyberSafe classroom resources site.
  • Cyberquoll CyberQuoll is an internet safety resource for upper primary school students provided by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA).  It contains a comprehensive suite of materials to help you teach internet safety.
  • kentict Kent ICT (UK) e-safety site – links to a range of documents and resources for teaching online safety.
  • bbc be smart BBC Be Smart site with interactive resources for students to learn about CyberSafety.
  • CyberPigs Privacy Playground: The First Adventure of the Three CyberPigs
  • NetSmartzKidsNetSmartzKids: a website set up to teach children and young adults about using the internet safely.  It uses fun, interactive games to help develop safe online strategies.
